Grants... (back to top)
The University awards grants to students who demonstrate financial need. It is based on calculated financial need, academic achievement, and availability of funds.

To apply you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Types of grants are the Cal Grants (state given money), Federal Pell Grant range from $400-$3,300 (depends on the number of units you are enrolled in), Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) is awarded to qualified students based on financial need and many others that depend on the college you apply to.

Some schools require the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE, which is information about you and your family to determine the financial need for the purpose of awarding University grant funds.
